As you already know a major earthquake struck Haiti this month. Oxfam and Glastonbury are having an online auction for Haiti to supply aid and give support to the victims. The Manics have donated some of their stuff to the auction to help raise funds for this cause. Another piece of fantastic news, The artwork for Journal For Plague Lovers has come 2nd place in the 'Best Art Vinyl Awards 2009'. The portrait was completed in 2005 pre existing and chosen by the Manics, it's entitled 'Stare' and is another great original piece of Jenny Saville's art.
From Jan 5th the Best Art Vinyl winners will be featured in exhibitions at The Art Vinyl Gallery, Basement Level, Selfridges, London, Rough Trade East, London, Snap Galleries, Birmingham and Georges House Gallery in Folkestone.
